Optional Batting Practice Are Underway!

The Liberty Youth program is conducting optional batting practices at the hitting cages (The Nest) at Liberty High School. The nest is located near the varsity baseball field. We have access to the nest on Monday's and Wednesday's from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm.

The first batting practice was held on January 8, 2014 and we had nearly 30 players show up. It was great to see such a large turnout. Due to the large number of kids, we are going to split up the practices by age group. We believe this will allow for better instruction and cage time.

Monday's - Hitting practice for T-ball kids, coach pitch kids, junior midgets and midgets. Anyone in 4th grade and under.

Wednesday's - Hitting practice for Juniors and Seniors. This will be for our 5-8th grade players.

A representative of Liberty Youth Baseball will be at each practice to coordinate the use of the nest.
